Five Reasons Some Immigrants Leave Germany
People plan to relocate to Germany without adequate information of its cons and not just its pros.
They become overwhelmed by the pros and take a decision.
However, in this article, I will be writing about the cons, and the reasons are not far-fetched. I know people who contacted Flyafricans, gotten entry clearance to Germany, sold their properties in their home country, got tickets, and flew to Germany. After a few months in Germany, they returned to their home country.
Some of the reasons include
1 . You don't want to learn German: Germany has got a language barrier and, if learning German or a new language poses a problem to you, trust me, Germany is not for you. Without an understanding of the German language, you cannot converse with immigration. You cannot shop at the malls. You can't make friends at the parks. You cant communicate at work. You can't achieve anything. You would be left out and alone.
2 . Indirect communication: Germans say it as it is.
They call a spade a spade. Germans do not filter their words.
If you are the type that is uncomfortable facing the truth or being straight or direct, then Germany is not for you. No sugar coating in Germany, and that's why Germans are considered rude.
3 . Patience: In Germany, the customer is not the king, unlike in Nigeria and America.
Patience is required to live in Germany because everything is by appointment alone and takes time. If you are the type that wants everything done immediately, then Germany is not for you.
4 . Tax: I need to state that Germany has a very high tax rate. It lies between 30 and 42%. Germanys taxes are for the funding of free education and health care, social security. Hitherto, by the time you start working, you pay for someone else's education, health care through your tax.
Someone paid yours too.
If you do not like paying taxes, then Germany is not for you.
5 . Cold weather: The sun is a miracle in Germany. Want sun all the time? Germany isn't for you.
Germany's weather is either snowy, windy, or rainy. People suffer from winter depression. At times, the weather is minus 5, minus 7, minus 10 degrees Celsius in winter.
These are a few of the cons, and that's why immigrants run back to their home country after a few months in Germany.
