MARC MILLER ANNOUNCES IMMIGRATION TARGET

Canada’s 2024-2026 Immigration Levels Plan aims to welcome 485,000 new permanent residents in 2024, 500,000 in 2025, and 500,000 in 2026.
These levels will remain stable at 500,000 from 2026 onward.
The immigration plan has two categories:
Economic immigration will account for a significant portion, with targets of 281,135 in 2024, rising to 301,250 in 2026. The Express Entry program will admit 110,700 immigrants in 2024, increasing to 117,500 in 2025 and 2026. The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) aims for 110,000 immigrants in 2024, rising to 120,000 in 2025 and 2026.
Family reunification targets 114,000 immigrants in 2024, growing to 118,000 by 2026. This category includes spousal, partner, child sponsorship, and the Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP).
